Hi, I’m Mareaka Bunch, founder of Bunch Accounting and Tax Services. I hold a Master’s in Accounting, I’m an Enrolled Agent (EA), and I’m just one class away from earning my Chartered Financial Consultant designation. But more importantly, I’m someone who believes deeply in the work midwives and doulas do to transform families’ lives.
Our Story
Bunch Accounting and Tax Services was born from a desire to serve the people who serve others. The idea came to me after my own transformative experience of working with a midwife during pregnancy—a stark contrast to the care I received in a hospital setting. That experience opened my eyes to how vital midwives and doulas are, for our communities.
But as I began connecting with midwives and doulas, I saw a troubling pattern:

That’s when I knew I could make a difference.
